According to him, the pilot project can not be carried over a long period.
“The pilot project will be implemented for 6-9 months. Wider application of compulsory health insurance is based on the results of the pilot project,” Aliyev said.
He mentioned that an Azerbaijani model of compulsory health insurance will be soon submitted to the country’s leadership.
“An order should be signed in this regard and districts should be specified where the pilot project will be applied in. Compulsory health insurance is planned to be widely applied in Azerbaijan from 2018”, Aliyev added.
