Baku. Turbat Baghirova – APA. Two Ukrainian citizens have survived the crash of Azerbaijan's Silk Way freight plane in Afghanistan.
They are in serious condition, the Russian daily Moskovsky Komsomolets said.
A freight plane of Azerbaijan's Silk Way airline crashed on Wednesday in Afghanistan, killing seven of its nine crew members, Azerbaijan's civil aviation administration said.
The plane was managed by international crew, which included five Azerbaijani nationals, three citizens of Ukraine and a citizen of Uzbekistan.
Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration established a commission to investigate the incident.
The members of commission will arrive in the scene on May 19 for further investigations.
