Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-April of 2016, Azerbaijan manufactured machinery and equipment, transport facilities, cars and trailers worth AZN 64.3 mln.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that machinery and equipment manufacturing dropped 20.5%, other transport facilities slipped 8.6 %.
Azerbaijan manufactured 117 private cars.
73 trucks were manufactured in the country during the same period, down 43.8% in comparison with 2015 (finished products – 7).
At the same time, 42 special purpose vehicles were manufactured during the same period. Tractor manufacturing fell 20.0% to 236 (finished products - 2).
