Gabala. Elvin Yagubov – APA. The military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey is based on friendly and fraternal relations that are developing in an upward trend and are of much benefit to the two countries, Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov said.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Turkey’s National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz in the Azerbaijani city of Gabala on May 15, APA’s correspondent reported.
Ismet Yilmaz spoke of the role and importance of this type of meetings in strengthening mutual relations.
The parties then exchanged their views on other issues of regional and mutual cooperation.
Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun was present at the meeting too.
