Armenia violates ceasefire with Azerbaijan 112 times

Baku - APA. Armenian armed forces have broken the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 112 times in various directions of the contact line of the two countries' troops in the last 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on May 13.

Armenian armed units stationed on nameless heights and in the Paravakar, Berkaber villages of Armenia’s Ijevan district opened fire at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the Kohnegishlag village of Azerbaijan's Aghstafa district, on nameless heights and in the Gizilhajili village of the Gazakh district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless heights and in the Alibeyli, Aghbulag villages of the Tovuz district were fired at by Armenian armed units stationed in the Mosesgeh, Chinari and Aygepar villages of the Berd district.

Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless heights of the Gadabay district also came under from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of the Krasnoselsk district.

Azerbaijan’s army positions located in the Shahbuz district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic came under fire from the Armenian positions located in Armenia’s Yeghegnadzor district.

Meanwhile, Armenian army opened fire from positions near the Goyarkh, Chilaburt villages of the Tartar district, the Shikhlar, Bash Garvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Namirli, Marzili, Yusifjanli villages of the Aghdam district, the Kuropatkino village of the Khojavand district, the Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of the Fuzuli district, the Mehdili village of the Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless heights in the districts of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces carried out 115 strikes on Armenian positions.
