Baku-APA. Five foreign Daesh suspects were killed and 10 others were captured in Turkey's southeastern Gaziantep province Friday, APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency.
According to the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak with the media, the terrorists were killed in the province’s Oguzeli district.
The incident took place when Turkish army detected a group of 15 people attempting to illegally cross the Turkish border in the early hours of Friday. When security forces warned the group to stop, they refused, prompting the security forces to open fire on them.
The slain foreigners were aged between 20 and 25.
Six of the 10 captured Daesh suspects were seriously injured, the sources added.
