Azerbaijani reserve colonel calls on Georgian people not to succumb to Armenian provocations

The statement reads below:

“I have grown up in Georgia. I’m deeply familiar with Georgia’s brave and hospitable people, history and culture. I hold them so dearly. So I always follow developments out there. I was seriously concerned by the recent incidents and the protest rally held by Armenian separatists in Javakhetia region. It was not the first time of the Armenian population of Javakhetia making such separatist claims against the Georgian people who had given them shelter and comprehensive care.

It is disappointing that the Armenians residing in Georgia under favorable conditions regularly hold torch-lit rally specific to the fascist ideology. In addition, they are engaged in sharing in social networks comments contrary to Georgia's political system and national security, as well as insulting insulting Georgian people and disrespecting its constitution.

I, as a person loving brotherly Georgian people and having many Georgian friends, urge the Georgian people not to succumb to these provocations of Armenians and prevent it in time. Otherwise, this will pose a serious threat to fraternal Georgia’s statehood in future and can cause an outbreak of a separatist conflict as in Nagorno-Karabakh.”
