Baku - APA. Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 112 times in various directions of the contact line of the two countries' troops in the last 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on May 6.
Armenian military was using 60mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns.
Armenian armed units stationed on nameless heights and in the Paravakar, Berkaber villages of Armenia’s Ijevan district and the Voskevan village of the Noyemberyan district opened fire at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the Kohnegishlag village of Azerbaijan's Aghstafa district, on nameless heights and in the Gizilhajili village of the Gazakh district.
Azerbaijani army positions located in the Alibeyli, Aghbulag villages of the Tovuz district were fired at by Armenian armed units stationed in the Mosesgeh, Chinari villages of the Berd district.
Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless heights of the Gadabay district also came under from Armenian positions located on nameless heights of the Krasnoselsk district.
Meanwhile, Armenian army opened fire from positions near the Chilaburt village of the Terter district, the Shikhlar, Bash Garvand, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Namirli, Garagashli, Marzili, Yusifjanli villages of the Aghdam district, the Kuropatkino village of the Khojavend district, the Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of the Fuzuli district, the Mehdili village of the Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless heights in the Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces carried out 117 strikes on Armenian positions.
