Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. We shouldn’t forget that the President is also a Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The people’s attention is focused on the frontline, the president and his spouse’s visit to the frontline is praiseworthy, MP, political analyst Rasim Musabeyov told APA.
Musabeyov said the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s visit was welcomed by everyone.
MP, chairman of the Great Establishment Party Fazil Mustafa told APA that the president and his spouse’s visit to the districts under fire is an exemplary act. “Today, people are in need of moral support. The president’s being directly interested in financial losses of people is important. Settlement of the problems of citizens can be taken cursorily in some places. But after the visit of the president, a serious support will be provided to the people, whose houses were destroyed. The visit of the head of state is a very positive step in this regard. It is good that the president attaches great importance to such visits. It is important to meet with people, talk to them and comfort them,” he said.
Mustafa called on other officials to take it as an example. “All members of the Cabinet of Ministers should take such a step. The president has no time to visit all frontal districts. It would be better for the members of the Cabinet of Ministers to meet with families, whose houses were destroyed,” he added.
Political analyst Gabil Huseynli also underlined the importance of the president’s visit to the frontline. “The civilians came under fire from the Armenian aggressors. The visit is of great importance in terms of studying the problems of the people on the front line and their enthusiasm. The visit is also important in terms of high enthusiasm of servicemen. Azerbaijani president and his spouse met with the servicemen, got acquainted with their eating and sleeping conditions, combat readiness, as well as reviewed the houses that came under fire from the Armenians and gave instructions to restore these houses as soon as possible. Thus, the Azerbaijani president as a Supreme Commander-in-Chief showed that he shows comprehensive care to the army, and the living condition of the residents of the frontal region is in the spotlight. We observed that the army and the local residents are very satisfied with the president’s visit. Those people saw that the state is seriously engaged in the military build-up. The president emphasized in the frontal region that Azerbaijan will use all means necessary to return its lands. The army and the people were affected by the high spirit of the head of state and his principled position. This was also the demonstration of a courageous stand to the world at such a vulnerable time. The Azerbaijani president showed that Azerbaijan will not give up its territorial integrity despite of the external pressure and suggestions”, he said.
The military expert Uzeyir Jafarli mentioned that the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s visit to the frontline is an important and courageous step at such a vulnerable time. “The Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s visit to the frontline and the soldiers, meeting with the civilians is an incomparable event. The latest of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces increased our hope for liberation of Karabakh. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief stated that Azerbaijan will never reconcile with this situation and it will continue. For this, we must use the power of the professions fighting in the Karabakh War”, said the military expert.
