Baku - APA. Armenian armed units violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 120 times in various parts of the contact line of troops in the last 24 hours using 82mm and 120mm mortar launchers, large-caliber machine guns and artillery systems, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Apr. 27.
Armenian armed units stationed on nameless uplands and Paravakar, Berkaber villages of Armenia’s Ijevan district, Dovekh village of Noyemberyan district opened fire at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in Kohnegishlag village of Aghstafa district, on nameless uplands and in Gizilhajili, Kemerli villages of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district.
Moreover, Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless uplands and in the Aghdam, Alibeyli, Aghbulag villages of Tovuz district were fired at by Armenian armed units stationed in the Mosesgekh, Chinari villages of Berd district.
Azerbaijani army positions located on nameless heights of Gedebey district also came under from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.
Meanwhile, Armenian army opened fire from positions near the villages of Chilaburt and Yarimja of the Tartar district, Shikhlar, Bash Gervend, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Marzili, Yusifjanli, Garagashli and Namirli of the Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of the Khojavand district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of the Fuzuli district, Mehdili village of the Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless heights in the districts of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces carried out 121 strikes on Armenian positions.
