He made the remarks at the UNAOC Group of Friends High Level Meeting held as part of the 7th UNAOC Global Forum in Baku Apr. 26.

The number of crises is increasing in the world, the ISESCO chief said, stressing the need to fight the trends of discrimination and injustice and reasons that pay the way to terrorism.

Azerbaijan is hosting the UNAOC Global Forum that calls for peace, Altwaijri said.

The secretary general noted that the ISESCO stands in solidarity with Azerbaijan against Armenia’s aggressive policy.

Altwaijri recalled the four UN Security Council resolutions demanding the withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied Azerbaijani territories.

The implementation by Armenia of these resolutions will create more secure areas, he added.

The ISESCO chief went on to say that the recent conflicts throughout the world have caused numerous human losses, as a result of which peoples were forced to leave their native lands.
