Madani made this statement at the 13th OIC Islamic Summit Conference, being held in Istanbul.
Armenia has been continuing the occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh for many years, the OIC secretary general said.
Armenia still ignores the resolutions of the UN Security Council and decisions of numerous international organizations on the settlement of the conflict, Madani added.
“We support a speedy settlement of the conflict. The occupying Armenian armed forces should immediately leave the occupied Azerbaijani territories, and the conflict should be resolved within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity,” he emphasized.
The 13th OIC Islamic Summit Conference kicked off in Istanbul on April 14. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva are also participating in the summit.
