Armenians resort to provocations in social networks

The Armenian media is displaying "corpses of Azerbaijani soldiers" on TV channels and spreading the photos of “beheaded Armenian soldier” on websites and social networks to divert the world's attention.

Analysis of the photos unambiguously excludes that it was committed by the Azerbaijanis during the current military operations.

First of all, it can’t be ruled out that the photo was artificially prepared and spread by the Armenians to form negative public opinion of the Azerbaijani people and servicemen as bloodthirsty and barbaric nation.

Secondly, there is no evidence in the photo confirming that the murder was committed by the Azerbaijani serviceman.

Thirdly, the man in the image is in summer uniforms. Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry stated that our armed forces have not yet switched to summer uniforms. Weather condition in the battlefield currently doesn’t allow being in summer uniforms. The weather is cold in that area. Furthermore, the personnel of the Azerbaijani armed forces are not wearing such military uniforms or bulletproof vests.

Finally, the person on photo looks like neither Azerbaijani nor Caucasian.

Jafarov also noted that such cases were not observed in the Azerbaijani Army's combat tactics and in the history of the Azerbaijani people. “Our soldiers are always committed to the principles of humanity even during combat. We're not a thug nation. Unlike us, the world witnessed the Armenians’ brutality in the Khojaly tragedy. The operation conducted on April 2 lasted for a short time and the Azerbaijani servicemen couldn’t take such a step in this short period of time. This is another provocation and misinformation of the Armenians,” he said.

Lieutenant-General in reserve, Yashar Aydemirov said The Armenians want to justify themselves spreading such fake photos. “The enemy took this step as it couldn’t accept the failure on the contact line of troops. They will try to justify themselves in any way,” he said.

Vagif Dargahli, spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, told APA that Armenians resort to every kind of falsification to hide their losses. "This is not the first time, we have repeatedly witnessed this. The information spread by Armenian media throughout the day is a lie, it does not reflect the real situation", Dargahli said.

It is reported that images spread on the Armenian websites are fake. "You can see that the video is another falsification in order to cover their losses. The soldiers in images are in summer clothes. Weather conditions currently do not allow to be in summer uniforms, Azerbaijani army personnel dressed in winter uniform", said the head of the press service.
