Gungormus said she thinks this visit was an overt support offered to Turkey by President Aliyev.
President Aliyev’s Ankara visit is also a serious message to Armenians who continue the occupation of Azerbaijani territories on account of foreign support, she added.
Meanwhile, Prof. Mensur Akgun, a teacher of the department of international relations Kültür University, said the Azerbaijani president took an important step by visiting Turkey which is going through a very difficult period.
This visit once again demonstrated to the world that Azerbaijan strongly supports Turkey, according to Akgun. “Due to the terrorist attacks, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has twice postponed his visit to Azerbaijan. Then, President Aliyev demonstrated determination. Turkey will never forget this step of him,” he added.
Commenting on the Azerbaijani president’s visit to Ankara, Mehmet Saray, professor of Beykent University, called this visit a manifestation of strong support from the brotherly country to Turkey which is experiencing difficult times.
This visit of President Aliyev will draw more public interest to the issue of the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia, he underlined.
Mehmet Saray said Turkey is going to overcome terrorist organizations.
