Hasanov said the next challenge on the energy market in 2015 emerged after a while another conflict began in the post-Soviet area.

“Experts believe that the current situation will last long, predicting that prices will continue to fall despite the fact that oil prices rose to $33 a barrel over the past few days,” he noted.

The official went on to add that both of these factors prove that the instability on the global energy market is politically motivated and related to artificial factors, because such processes can not be explained by normal logic and economic laws.

According to Hasanov, political crises and numerous conflicts in different parts of the world and the direct involvement of global forces in confrontations in different countries, including Syria and Ukraine are among the factors exacerbating the global crisis.

“Therefore, when talking about the global economic crisis, we should be based on all three reasons: the slowdown in the world economy, the presence of artificial factors affecting this process and energy prices and political convulsions,” the official stressed.
