Baku-APA. A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck early Sunday the central part of Turkey, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said, APA reports quoting Sputnik.

​The epicenter was located about 10 miles northwest of the Turkish city of Hekimhan at the depth of 6 miles.


No information about the damage or casualties was immediately available.
