Baku. Vusal Nabiyev - APA-Economics. “There is no restriction on usage of Azerbaijan’s air space”, Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration released statement.

The statement says: “Azerbaijan’s air space makes 168,000 m², including the part of Caspian Sea. Today, there is no restriction on the usage of Azerbaijan’s airspace. About 400-450 flights are conducted in Azerbaijan’s air space per day (including transit ones), which includes aircrafts of global companies. All the flights are carried out in line with the ICAO standards and recommendations in compliance with all the safety measures and norms.”

Earlier, it was reported after Russian missiles hit ISIL in Syria from Caspian Sea that Azerbaijan’s air space is a danger zone for some air companies.
