Baku-APA. “Very serious steps will be done in order to improve the business climate, give impetus to the development of entrepreneurship. I must say that a lot of complaints are received about the inspections. The number of inspections is big enough, inspection bodies as if competing with each other. It is unacceptable,” said President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of socioeconomic development in nine months of 2015 and objectives for the future, APA reports.

According to the President, the most of such inspections have material interests: "The inspector comes and checks something or not but eventually receives a bribe out. This is reality. And it's not secret for anyone. It must be stopped. Therefore, I demand that I was reported in detail about what structures inspect, how many times a year, and for what. There should be a system. There should be developed mechanism of inspections. And there should be certain prescribed conditions - who, when, how soon can inspect someone. In general, we need to reduce the number of inspections substantially ".

President Ilham Aliyev stressed that the local executive authorities, including law enforcement agencies, in some cases create problems for entrepreneurs, demand money from them: "Entrepreneur shall pay neither local nor law enforcement agencies, he has to pay state taxes and that is all. Look, about 30 thousand work places were closed. 67 thousand work places were opened, and 30 thousand were closed. I want to know the reasons why they were closed. It is necessary to invite the leaders of these companies and ask. Of course, there are objective reasons, but also subjective reasons. "

The Head of State also spoke about the excessive number of licenses: " I was informed the number of licenses is rising. In fact, it should be decreased. Why? Because there are structures interested in this. What is a license? Source of money. Method of illicit enrichment. The Government has to give proposal about what licenses should be required. Number of licenses should be reduced massively. We have chosen a liberal, market economy and we go along this path. Look at how much progress we have achieved. If there were not those who make obstacles, we could achieve much greater success. If there was no bribery, corruption, inspections, licenses, how much the budget of the country could be increased! Everyone has to make conclusions, otherwise will be punished. "

The head of state said that the prices of some drugs overstated for several times: "Now new state regulatory mechanism is applied. From September 15, people began to feel it. By the end of this year, the majority of medicines will have the new price. Much attention is also paid to their quality. Medicine prices are falling, and will fall further.
