Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. As of September 1, 2015 the deposits in Azerbaijan-based credit organizations made AZN 17,658.1 mln, up AZN 3,018.3 mln or 20.62% compared to a year earlier. In August, the deposits shed AZN 555.5 mln or 3.5%.
AZN 7,320.3 mln or 41.4% of deposits were household savings. The savings soared AZN 327.5 mln or 4.68% year-on-year.
At the same time, legal entities’ deposits stood at AZN 10,337.7 mln, up AZN 2,690.6 mln or 35.18% from a year ago.
In legal entities’ deposits, AZN 5,300.3 mln or 51.27% belonged financial organizations, AZN 5,037.4 mln or 48.73% - to non-financial organizations.
4,434.4 mln of deposits are in AZN, 13,223.6 mln in foreign currency.
