Baku – APA. Chinese companies have reached an agreement with Boeing to purchase 300 jets and build an aircraft assembly plant in China in deals signed during President Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States, the official Xinhua news agency said Wednesday, Business News reported.
The order for 250 narrowbody 737 aircraft and 50 widebody aircraft, valued at about $38 billion, was announced as Xi toured Boeing’s Everett, Washington factory.
Boeing confirmed Wednesday it will establish a 737 jet completion and delivery center in China, and announced orders for 300 of jets from Chinese companies.
