Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Moscow.

The meeting took place in the Kremlin. Putin thanked Erdogan for attending the opening of the mosque and assisting its construction.

Putin also expressed his satisfaction with bilateral relations between the two countries.

“Our relations are established at the highest level and developing in all directions – at parliamentary and government levels. As for economic relations, I would like to say that despite the decline that is being observed, Russia remains the second economic-trade partner of Turkey. Diversification of our economic-trade relations continues. We’re very much pleased with it. Investments from both sides have increased up to 10 billion dollars,” said the Russian president.
