Baku. APA-Economics - Musa Ahmadov. Pasha Insurance headed the insurance market with the payments of AZN 19.4 mln in January-August 2015, Azerbaijan Insurers Association told APA-Economics.
Gala Life Insurance’s payments amounted to AZN 16.1 mln, Ateshgah – AZN 10.3 mln, Ateshgah Life Insurance – AZN 9.6 mln., and Azersigorta – AZN 8.3 mln. Payments by these companies made 54.8% (AZN 63.7 mln) of total payments.
The insurers with the least payments are Era-Trans (AZN 179,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 72,000), Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 53,000), Silk Way Insurance (AZN 37,000), and Azergaranat (AZN 2,000). Total payments of these insurers amount to AZN 343,000 mln – 0.3% of total payments.
Generally, 4 insurance companies’ payments make over AZN 10 mln, 5 companies – AZN 5-10 mln, 11 companies – AZN 1-5 mln, 1 company –AZN 0.5-1 mln and 3 companies – AZN 100,000 - 0.5 mln, 4 companies – below AZN 100,000. 15 insurers increased payments, 12 decreased.
