At the Heydar Aliyev International airport on Sept.7, Tajik citizen Zamira Qaziyeva (1998) who arrived in Azerbaijan via Alma Ata-Baku flight No.111 was detained due to fake stamps on her passports of having previously visited Azerbaijan. On Sept.10 Sri Lanka citizens Sanmuqarasa Sathes (1983) and Sinna Thamby Theiventhiram Poovinthan (1987) from Baku-Istanbul flight No.079 with fake Schengen visas, Bangladeshi citizens Rana MD Masud (1983), Alim Muhammad Abdul (1985), Rana MD Sahel (1987), and Pramanik Abu Sayed (1988) from Istanbul-Baku flight No.334 with fake visas were also detained at the airport.
The detainees were deported from Azerbaijan.
