Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The murderer of a 14-year-old boy has been detained in Kurdamir district.
As a result of urgent investigative operations, the prosecutor’s office and police have uncovered graves crimes recently committed in Baku (Khazar district) and Kurdamir, according to the joint statement by the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Interior Ministry.
As is known, Baku resident Aziza Hasanova was found dead in her home on Aug.26 (Shuvelan village, Khazar district), with signs of violence on her body. A criminal case on deliberate murder (Article 120.1) was then opened. Intensive investigative actions made it clear that the murder has been committed by Mukhtar Qadirov and Rufat Iskandarov, both of whom have been detained by police. They have admitted to having entered Aziza Hasanova’s home for burglary and taken AZN260 and golden jewelry worth AZN 525 after killing her.
Apart from that, 14-year-old villager Izzat Babayev was founded dead on Sept.8 in a garden owned by Emin Eminov who l,ives in Arabqubali village, Kurdamir district. It became clear that Izzat was suffocated to death by Seyran Mammadov, a resident of the same village, in a personal dispute on Sept.7. He has been detaind as a suspect.
Both incidents are under investigation.
