Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. As of August 1, 2015, total foreign liabilities of Azerbaijan-based commercial banks stood at AZN 6,561,400,000, up AZN 2,033,500,000 or 44.91% from previous year.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan said foreign liabilities fell AZN 353 mln or 5.06% in June.
Compared to early 2015, the foreign liabilities raised AZN 2,046,500,000 or 41.5%.
At the same time, as of August 1, 2015, banks’ total foreign assets stood at AZN 4,497.4 mln, up AZN 1,286.2 mln or 40.05% in comparison to a year earlier. Compared to previous months, these assets raised AZN 110.8 mln or 2.53%.
