Some old buildings in Azerbaijan’s Sheki, Oghuz crack after earthquake

Chairman of the Oghuz district emergencies commission Etibar Yusifov said told APA's Zagatala bureau that according to initial information large and minor cracks have emerged in some old buildings in the Padar, Mukhas, Qarabulaq, and Kerimli villages of Oghuz. And the walls of several houses collapsed to little extent.
Sheki executive bodies say cracks have emerged in old buildings in places close to the epicenter – the Turan and Sarija villages, etc.
Specialists from the two districts’ emergencies commissions are in the areas to inspect damaged houses.
There are no injuries.
Note that, the earthquake happened in Sheki district on Friday at 9:49AM, the ANAS Republican Seismological Center told APA.
The quake was magnitude 7 in the epicenter and down to magnitude 6 to 3 in residential areas nearby.
The quake occurred at a depth of 13km and was noticed in the districts of Ujar, Goychay, Aghdash, Shamakhy, Zagatala, Balaken, Sheki, Gabala, Ismayilli, Tovuz, Salyan, Sabirabad, and in the cities of Shirvan and Mingachevir.
Note that, tremors were felt at the same time in Georgia.
