Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva meets with French president François Hollande - <span style="color: red;">PHOTO

At the meeting was expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between the two countries. French President François Hollande expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for her participation in cultural events. “The relations between our countries have great potential. France and Azerbaijan established successful relationship in the field of the economy, energy, information - communication technologies, aerospace industry, and agriculture. France is interested in expanding ties with Azerbaijan. I am confidence that relations between France and Azerbaijan will continue to enhance in the future”.

Noting that in recent years implemented a number of projects for the further promotion of Azerbaijan in France, Aliyeva stressed that the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani town is the next event in this series.

Mehriban Aliyeva noted that such cultural projects have already been implemented in 25 regions of France, more than 10 cities of Azerbaijan and France have established friendly and fraternal relations.

Referring to the role of France as a co-chair of the Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed hope that France will continue to act from a position of resolving the conflict within the territorial position of our country and international law.
