Several judges punished for serious shortcomings in Azerbaijan

Baku-APA. The Judicial Council held regular meeting, APA reports.

At the meeting chaired by Fikret Mammadov noted the purposeful reforms carried out to improve the efficiency of justice under the leadership of the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and discussed some personnel and other organizational.

The meeting, were conducted principle analyzes related to the evaluation of activity of a number of judges whose term expired, were discussed results of studying their works, opinions of high court and information submitted by the Ministry of Justice and other information.

The meeting reviewed the disciplinary proceedings against judges, judge of Yasamal District Court of Baku Anar Rzayev and Mingechevir City Court judge Huseyn Mirzaliyev were reprimanded for gross breaches of the law and creating conditions for corruption.

With regard to one judge pursuant to the disciplinary proceedings initiated for serious violations and the creation of red tape.
