Baku. Vusal Nabiyev – APA-Economics. “The sentences written on Bakıkart are incorrect and no one denies it,” Baku Metro Press and Public Relations Department head Nasimi Pashayev has said in a statement to APA-Economics.
Nasimi Pashayev promised that these mistakes would be corrected.
“This sort of mistakes will not be repeated when next cards are issued for sale,” he said.
About 150,000 cards have already been sold until now.
Note that, there are sentences on Bakıkart such as “Kartı rÉ™smi satış mÉ™ntÉ™qÉ™sindÉ™n alınız (Please purchase a card from official sales centers)”, “Kart balansını artırmaq üçün rÉ™smi ödÉ™niÅŸ terminallarından istifadÉ™ ediniz (To top of your balance in the card, use official payment terminals)”, “Kartınızı zÉ™dÉ™lÉ™mÉ™yiniz (Do not damage your card)”. Linguists say expressions like “alınız”, “ediniz”, and “zÉ™dÉ™lÉ™mÉ™yiniz” are grammatically incorrect and their use is disrespect to the Azerbaijani language.
