Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Evrobank OJSC, whose license has been revoked by Azerbaijan Central Bank, is being liquidated.
Under decision 2-1(81)-3855/2015 dated Aug.10, 2015 of the Baku Administrative Economic Court No. 1 of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a decision has been reached as to Evrobank OJSC’s declaration as bankrupt and its liquidation, APA-Economics reports citing the official media.
According to information, Azerbaijan International Consulting Company LLC has been appointed as the liquidator of Evrobank OJSC. (The liquidator’s legal address: 539th block, 18/7 Matbuat Avenue, Baku. Tel: 012-539- 47-22; 012-539-73-17).
The liquidation process is taking place in Evrobank OJSC’s head office (21 Plotnikov str. Baku).
In accordance with Article 72.1 of Azerbaijan’s law on banks, from the moment the decision on the bank’s declaration as bankrupt enters into force, only the actions taken by the liquidator or a person appointed by it are considered legal.
The liquidator in the Evrobank OJSC’s liquidation is Azerbaijan International Consulting Company LLC.
Note that, Evrobank OJSC’s license was revoked after the Azerbaijan Central Bank’s Decision No. 27 dated 10.07.2015.
