Zagatala District Central Hospital told APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau that 29-year old Zagatala resident Aghakishi Ahmed Hezreyev was taken to the hospital with pelvic and right calf injures. He underwent surgery and was taken to the intensive care unit. He is reportedly in critical condition.
Zagatala District Police Office told APA that the incident occurred outside the house of Aghakishi Hezreyev. A man opened fire from submachine gun in Aghakishi several times and fled the scene.
The suspect was arrested.
A criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
