Baku. Vusal Nabiyev - APA-Economics. The low-cost flights to be implemented by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will be on Moscow, Istanbul, Antalya and Dubai directions, AZAL spokesman Eldar Hajiyev said at press conference.
According to him, the low-budget flights will be implemented on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays starting from August 7.
“As AZAL has entered Eurozone since 2006, the prices are in Euro. Therefore, the prices for low cost flights will be calculated in Euro. €99-price is for 2-hour coming and 2-hour leaving. Tour operators also will use this system from August 1”, Hajiyev said.
According to him, Passengers of low-cost flights will pay AZN 50 for 5-23 kg baggage. Those who come back from abroad to Baku will pay $50 for baggage.
Hajiyev noted that low cost flights do not include meals: “They will get only water”.
