Shaki. Vugar Heydarov – APA. The 6th International Musical Festival “Silk Road” ended in the Azerbaijani city of Shaki.
Co-organized by Azerbaijan Composers Union and Shaki City Executive Authority and supported by the Culture and Tourism Ministry, the festival came to an end with the solemn ceremony at Shaki’s Summer Theater on July 5.
Baku Sinfonietta orchestra of Azerbaijan Composers Union gave a concert.
Chairperson of Azerbaijan Composers Union, artistic director of the festival Firangiz Alizade said that one more international festival is coming to an end, expressing gratitude to the participants and the executive authorities for holding the music festival at the high level.
The symbol of the festival was presented to artistic director of the festival, chairperson of Azerbaijan Composers Union Firangiz Alizade.
Japan "Kamigata Sumiyoshi Kai” music ensemble, Turkey's Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, Poland's "Ac-cello duo" music ensemble, as well as chorus, song and dance collectives of minorities living in Azerbaijan gave concerts during the 5-day 6th international musical festival in Shaki.
