The European Youth Parliament (EYP), in order to organize illegal trips to the occupied Azerbaijani territories in flagrant violation of the norms and principles of international law, will launch a new project called “Study Trip to Artsakh Republic”, Azerbaijan Youth European Integration Organization (AGAT) told APA on July 3.

The Alumni Chapter of the European Youth Parliament – Armenia will implement the project called “Study Trip to Artsakh Republic” on August 22 – 26, 2015. The event will gather around 100 participants. Within the framework of the project, the participants plan to visit the parliament, and meet with the "prime minister" and "foreign minister" of the "Artsakh Republic".

Gudratli said the Armenian representation of EYP started expressing political views under the guise of non-governmental organization, running contrary to non-partisan principles and neutrality of EYP.

“The EYP head office has nothing to do with this project, and it was initiated by the Armenian representation. Our representation has sent a letter to the head office to inform EYP about the Armenian representation’s intention of holding an event in the occupied Azerbaijani territories. EYP will take actions against the Armenian representation and won’t let holding any event running contrary to its ideas and principles,” Gudratli noted.
