Visiting Military Aviation School of Lithuania, Azerbaijani and Lithuanian delegations exchanged views on the wide perspectives on the field of military education, development of bilateral exchange of experience and organizing seminars and courses on various subjects between two countries.
Then Mr. Hasanov has been to the Center of NATO Energy Security. Azerbaijani minister was informed in detail about destination, purpose, activity of the center as well as about meetings on energy security and planned works.
Defense Minister noted that NATO is an active partner of Azerbaijan and touched the significance of the reforms implemented in the Armed Forces of Lithuania in terms of experience and Azerbaijan's support in international peacekeeping operations. Mr. Hasanov also said that Azerbaijan always demonstrated a strong stance against terrorism and separatism.
At both meetings expansion of cooperation between two countries was discussed and Lithuanian side was informed about the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
