Number of voters in Azerbaijan announced

According to him, there are 5,093,289 voters in Azerbaijan. 51.7% of them are women while 48.3% are men. Single voters’ list will be available in the official website of the CEC.

Thus, the CEC completed its main activities in the first half.

Azerbaijan Republic has started the process of compiling a single voters' list since the beginning of January. The Precinct Election Commissions are carrying out this process within the period determined by law. According to the requirements of the Election Code, the PECs should submit voters' list on polling stations to relevant Constituency Election Commissions by February 5. The Constituency Election Commissions will hand over preliminary voters’ lists to the Central Election Commission by April 5.
