State Border Service ends large-scale tactical exercises - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Baku. Agha Jafarli – APA. In accordance with the 2015 combat readiness programme, the State Border Service (SBS) held large-scale tactical exercises from May 15 to 21 with the participation of the State Border Service’s swift action units and aviation forces on the theme of “neutralization of enemy troop groups and terrorist sabotage teams violating the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The purpose of the exercises is to improve coordination between aviation units and quick reaction forces of the State Border Service, achieve a high level of interaction, train the joint venture of command units in actual combat conditions and instill in the personnel a love for the Motherland, faith in weapons and skills of endurance, steadfastness and courage in the battle, the SBS press service told APA.
The 3rd stage of the live firing exercises was directed by General-Lieutenant Elchin Guliyev, Chief of the State Border Service and Commander of Border Troops.
Anti-aircraft installations, helicopters, mortar launchers, large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers successfully carried out tasks of live firing and missile launches. The personnel demonstrated strong discipline, high proficiency, and combat readiness, with improved live firing skills. The SBS swift action units and aviation forces successfully carried out their combat tasks. The exercises were successful.
