Baku – APA. The exhibitions Beyond the Line and Vita Vitale are underway at the Azerbaijani pavilion organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation within the Venice Biennale international art exhibition.
Both exhibitions which opened on May 6 will receive visitors on November 22, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation told APA.
The Beyond the Line exhibition will display works by Ashraf Murad, Javad Mirjavadov, Tofig Javadov, Rasim Babayev, Fazil Najafov, Huseyn Haqverdi, Shamil Najafzadeh. The exhibition will shed light on the freedom passion of artists, who were overshadowed by the repressive Soviet regime of the twentieth century, and the spirits of their works.
The Vita Vitale exhibition jointly presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA will bring together from around the world artists who express their concern about the fate of the planet.
Works of artists from Azerbaijan, the United States, Austria, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Switzerland, and Uzbekistan will also be displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition will put on display works by famous artists like Edward Burtynsky, Mircea Cantor, Loris Cecchni, Tony Cragg, Laura Ford, Leyla Aliyeva, Aida Mahmudova, Andy Warhol and others. A video clip of the opening the Azerbaijani pavilion was displayed.
