The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the park.
Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov told the president and his spouse that the European Games Park will host water polo, beach volleyball, beach soccer and basketball competitions. The Park consists of three sports facilities and four functional zones.
President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva inspected the work carried out in the park.
Then the president and his spouse reviewed the cabs which will serve the official and technical staff from European countries during the Games.
