APA reports that according to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s decree on "Some measures for holding the first European Games" dated August 8, foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing outside the country, who have received the corresponding accreditation, can visit Azerbaijan and leave the country by presenting the passport or other documents for crossing the border and the accreditation card within the period of 60 days before the opening of the First European Games and 30 days after their completion.
By presenting the ticket for the First European Games or the document proving the purchase of the ticket, foreigners and stateless persons, permanently residing outside the country, can get visa in the subdivisions of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s Consular Department located at the country’s international airports 10 days before the start of the Games. Foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in foreign countries and have been accredited in the appropriate order and involved in labor activity in Azerbaijan for organizing and holding the First European Games, are not required to get work permit.
