In European stock markets, FTSE 100 index rose 0.86% to 7,022.51 points, French CAC-40 to 1.00% to 5,087.49, Germany’s DAX to 1.18% to 12,039.37.
In Asian stock markets, Nikkei 225 index soared 0.99% to 19,753.26 points, Hang Seng increased 0.37% to 24,465.40, Shanghai advanced 1.34% to 3,665.85.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price declined $2.80 to $1,181.80 an ounce, and silver price declined $0.19 to $16.70.
