The President said that our martyrs' blood should be and is being avenged: “Azerbaijani Army fully controls the situation along frontline and protects the homeland with dignity. I am confident that we will achieve our goal, will restore historical justice and our territorial integrity. The Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be resolved within the internationally recognized territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. After that, we Azerbaijanis will return to our ancient lands – Yerevan, Goyche, Zangezur, etc. The younger generation needs to know that our lands are not limited to the current territories of independent Azerbaijan. We must go back to those lands and we will. We must try daily to draw near that day”.
The head of state said army building is the main issue, adding that Azerbaijan’s army today stands out with its might and technical equipment in the world.
