Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan armed forces kill and wound about 20 Armenian soldiers - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

According to the statement, about 20 Armenian soldiers were killed and wounded by Azerbaijani armed units during an intensive firefight on March 19.

“For fear of enflaming the anger of the mothers of the soldiers who were killed on the front line against the country’s military-political leadership, the Armenian Defense Ministry purposefully covers up failed military operations and the actual number of casualties to divert the people’s attention.

In his speech before the Azerbaijani Armed Forces’ tank units, Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov said in response to Armenia’s recent provocative attempts aimed at aggravating the situation on the front line that the enemy needs to understand that the only way to survive after invading a foreign land is to immediately leave occupied Azerbaijani territories once and for all. Otherwise, Azerbaijani armed forces will retaliate even more ruthlessly against the enemy for its each action. The retaliatory blow will be lethal,” the statement said.

The Defense Ministry states that affirmative materials on clashes on the contact line will be presented additionally.
