Speaker Ogtay Asadov, who opened the meeting, extended his congratulations to MPs and the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the upcoming Novruz holiday, APA reports.
Later on, the agenda was approved. The main issue on the agenda of the meeting is the 2014 annual report on the activities of Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.
Ogtay Asadov spoke about the report, noting that last year the country continued to develop at a rapid rate, macro and micro economic stability was preserved, and general economic growth accounted for 2.8 percent.
The prime minister then began to present the government’s report.
