Baku - APA. Today is the 8th anniversary of apasport.az site. Being one of the subsidiaries of “APA” Holding, apasport.az began operations as the first sport agency of independent Azerbaijan in 2007.
Apasport.az, recognized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports as the best sport agency of the country, distributes not only operative information covering all areas of Azerbaijan and the world sport, but also prepares exclusive interviews with interesting representatives of sporting community, conducts researches related to problems in various areas.
The website offers extensive articles on important tournaments and interesting events, live broadcasts, video frames, photo shoots. Apasport.az with a significant number of subscribers, publishes two daily newsletters in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, which are sent to the Ministries, diplomatic corps, sports organizations and teams, TV channels, newspapers and other recipients.
"Apasport" provides information support to the majority of competitions held in Azerbaijan. The agency constantly sends its employees to the matches and training camps participated by Azerbaijani football clubs.
Currently, the agency has set a goal of operative and comprehensive coverage of the first European Games to be held in Azerbaijan.
