Heydar Aliyev Center to host Slovenian Day

Baku - APA. On March 13, the Embassy and Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia in Azerbaijan will organize Slovenian Day at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

An art exhibition will open during the event. Works of Slovenian artists Peter and Jože Ciuha will be exhibited. Slovenian academic musician Ljuben Dimkaroski will play flute, the world's oldest musical instrument, and perform a variety of music. It should be noted that this flute kept in the National Museum of Slovenia is 55,000 years old.

On the same day, famous group "Eroika" will give a concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center as well. The trio Eroika comprising singers Matjaž Robavs (baritone), Aljaž Farasin (tenor) and Metod Žunec (tenor) will present exciting program of music to the audience. The trio will be accompanied by Symphonic Orchestra named after Niyazi.

The group's repertoire includes hit songs in English, Spanish and Italian languages, as well as covers of pop songs of Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia.
