Ivica Dacic: "The settlement of the protracted conflicts occupies an important place among the priorities of the Serbian OSCE Presidency"

Baku. Malahat Najafova - APA. “Settlement of protracted conflicts occupies an important place among the priorities of the Presidency of the OSCE in Serbia”, - OSCE Chairman Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said in the United States, during a hearing held in Helsinki Commission, APA reports.

Dacic expressed support for continued efforts in the current format, and the steps taken to restore confidence between the parties: "The active participation of the United States remains an important factor in the implementation of the OSCE mission."

According to Dacic, the OSCE and security in Europe is currently going through a critical period of transition, and now one of the main priorities is to prevent the crisis, both inside and outside of Ukraine that it did not cover more extensive areas.

He noted that the search for a solution to the Ukrainian diplomatic crisis will continue even more intensively.

Recall that during his visit to the United States Ivica Dachich met with Secretary of State John Kerry. The meeting focused on US-Serbian relations, the crisis in Ukraine, Serbia's priorities during its presidency in the organization.
