Azerbaijani and Iranian customs checkpoints to operate 24 hours after Novruz holiday

Baku. Vusal Nabiyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani and Iranian customs officers held meeting in the Gosha Tepe customs post of the Bilasuvar customs administration.

According to administration’s press service, the meeting was held in accordance with the provisions of Memorandum of Understanding signed between Azerbaijan Customs Service and Iranian Customs Administration.

The current issues between Azerbaijani and Iranian customs checkpoints were discussed at the meeting.

Moreover, they also discussed switching to 24-hour operation, fines imposed on fuel tanks of vehicles coming from Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and other issues.

Chairman of Bilasuvar customs administration Seyavush Suri expressed his assurance that final works for switching to 24-hour operation have already been completed and it will be realized after Novruz holiday.
