B. Asgarov said there is a permanent representation of Nakhchivan in Baku for the dissemination of such information.
“In this case, there is a need to contact the representation management. Information can be disseminated after verification. We know about the sources of these reports and to whom they serve. This is a provocation,” he noted.
According to him, those who release such reports can also cite the website of the newspaper “Şərq Qapısı” of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and see in which events the Nakhchivan authorities attend every day.
“The Nakhchivan authorities have today attended the opening of several facilities. We condemn such reports and wish this will not happen again. I want to say to those who resort to this kind of provocation that Nakhchivan has a special weight in Azerbaijan and is constantly developing, and those wishing to see it with their own eyes at any time may come to Nakhchivan,” he added.
Some media outlets reported on Feb.5 that Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov was taken to Baku due to illness.
