Azerbaijan Museum of Miniature Books entered Guinness Book of World Records

APA reports quoting AzerTAc that more than 5600 books published in 66 countries are exhibited in 38 glass cases. The most unique exhibits are 4 micro books published in “Toppan” publishing house in Tokyo, Japan and 4 micro books published in Germany.

The museum was included in the Guinness Book of World Records as a result of hard work for more than half a year. The relevant application was filed in the first half of 2014.

According to the information obtained from Guinness World Record global Records Management Team on January 21, 2015, the application of the museum was accepted, and it was recognized as the world's largest collection of miniature books. "Guinness World Records" certificate will be presented to founder of the Miniature Books Museum, Zarifa Salahova in the near future.

Guinness World Records has previously recognized the world record for the largest collection of miniature books, set by Nikunj R. Vagadia. He managed to collect 258 miniature books.
